What Talebeacon does · AI engine coverage

AI engine coverage

Your buyers don’t all ask the same engine. Some ask ChatGPT; some take the answer at the top of a Google search. Talebeacon reads three engines per scan, your pick, and asks each one the way a buyer would, with web search on, in your market and language, and nothing remembered from the question before.

Every engine, read the way your buyers use it

Each engine gets the same questions and is read on its own, so you see where you stand on each one, and the three together give the picture your buyers see.

  • Your three engines: every scan puts every question to each of them, and you can change them whenever you like.
  • Weighted to your buyers: give one engine more weight than another, and your numbers and your plan’s order follow it.
  • Read with search on: every question is asked the way a buyer asks it, with web search on, so today’s sources count.
  • In your market and language: the questions are asked in your site’s language, for the market you chose, whether one country, a region or the whole world.
  • No history behind the question: every question starts clean, with no memory of the last one, so the engine answers as it would answer your buyer.
  • Engine by engine, side by side: your share, your rivals and the sources, counted per engine and together.

Numbers you can trust on every engine

A long list of engines is easy to print. What decides whether the numbers mean anything is how each engine is read. Talebeacon adds an engine only once we have measured that we read it the way its users see it.

How it works

  1. 01

    You pick three

Pick them at setup or any time after. A new brand starts on a default three; change any of them and the next scan reads your choice.

  2. 02

    Each engine answers every question

With web search on, in your market and language, a fresh question every time; a scan takes about an hour.

  3. 03

Each engine is read on its own

The same five-way reading on every answer, per engine, so ChatGPT's numbers and Gemini's numbers compare, and so do yours and your rivals'.

  4. 04

    Weights decide the whole

Your three are added up by the weights you set. The hub, the competitor view and the plan's order all follow them.

Questions people ask

Why three and not all of them?

Three engines per scan, ten scans a month, is the balance we found between reading often and reading properly. Every engine answers every question, every time. If your buyers rely on a fourth, talk to us.

When is Claude coming?

Claude is next, as an add-on, and reading it costs several times more than the engines we read today, so we price it separately.

Do you read the engines in my country?

Yes. The market you choose and your site's language shape the questions and how they are asked. A market can be one country, a region such as German-speaking Europe, or the whole world.

Which engine should I weight most?

Weight the one your buyers use most. If you don’t know yet, keep the weights equal for the first scans; the per-engine view shows where you differ most, which is usually where to look.
